About the City of Eastlake
The City of Eastlake is located at the mouth of the Chagrin River. Over 300 years ago the Erie Indians had a village near what is now Lake Shore Boulevard and Reeves Road.
Access to Lake Erie makes Eastlake a favorite of recreational boaters.

Eastlake City Hall is the proud home of The Boulevard of 500 Flags, a permanent display of American Flags that salutes Eastlake residents who served our Country in times of war.
On September 11th, 2002 the city unveiled America Remembers Memorial. This unique monument pays tribute to those who lost their lives on 9-11 and includes steel beams from the World Trade Center, a block of granite from The Pentagon, and soil and sod from Summerset County PA.
Eastlake is also the home of The Lake County Captains, a Class A baseball team in The Cleveland Indians farm system.
